At NTG, we leverage the Matterport Pro3 scanner to provide rapid, immersive 3D captures of facilities, spaces, and existing conditions. While not survey-grade, Matterport offers excellent visualization and efficient point-cloud generation for early planning, walkthroughs, and facility documentation. It’s an ideal solution when speed, portability, and visual experience matter most.

Typical Accuracy & Tolerances

Matterport Pro3 provides useful dimensional accuracy but should be distinguished from survey-grade systems:

Linear tolerance: ±20 mm (≈ 3⁄4") at up to 10 m range
Best use cases: early planning, general layout, space visualization, facility documentation
Limitations: not suitable for fabrication-level modeling or strict BIM coordination at LOD 300/400
